Who is responsible for your data

What we collect
- Your email address and name, when you buy a book, so we can deliver it and handle support or refunds.
- Payment information, which is collected and held by our payment provider, not by us. We never see or store your full card number.
- Usage data — pages viewed, approximate location and device type — collected by the analytics and advertising tools listed below.
- Advertising identifiers, when you click a buy button: your IP address, the type of browser and device you are using, the address of the page you clicked from, and Meta’s advertising cookies (
_fbpand_fbc) if they are set. These tell us which advert led to a sale.
The calculator on The Dental Money Model page runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type into it are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
Why we use it
To deliver the book you paid for and provide support (performance of our contract with you); to measure and improve our advertising (legitimate interests, or your consent where the law requires it); and to meet tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
Advertising and analytics
We use the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of advertising on Facebook and Instagram. It sets cookies and reports events such as page views and purchases back to Meta, which may match them to a Meta account and use them for ad targeting and measurement. See Meta’s own Privacy Policy.
We also send the same events to Meta from our own server, through Meta’s Conversions API, because browsers increasingly block the pixel. The server copy of an event carries your IP address, browser type, the page address and the Meta cookies described above, and, for a completed purchase, your email address, name and country in an irreversibly scrambled (hashed) form — Meta never receives them in readable form from us. Each event carries a shared identifier so that the browser copy and the server copy are counted once, not twice.
When you click a buy button we create your checkout on our server and pass those same advertising identifiers to our payment provider, which returns them to us once payment completes so we can report the sale correctly. Your payment details never pass through our server.
You can opt out through your browser cookie settings, your Meta ad preferences, or any consent banner shown on this site.
Who we share it with
Our payment provider, Creem (to take payment, deliver the file, and hold the advertising identifiers attached to your checkout), our email provider (to send your receipt and download link), and Meta as described above. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Purchase records for as long as tax law requires, normally seven years. Marketing contact details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Email support@dentalmoneymodel.com and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Children
This site sells educational books for professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18.
